My mother put index cards in my stocking.  And not even as a joke.  I suppose this is what I get for complaining about the uselessness of all my stocking stuffers last year.

However, I just made cream biscuits and not only do they go from sifter to oven in half an hour, but they might be the best thing I've ever eaten.

I bought Julie & Julia for my mom. So yeah.

Congrats on the biscuits! We have an excellent recipe, but we've made it so much that I'm seriously disgusted by it now. Shame.
