Did that stab look a little low for the heart? I have a shitty grasp of anatomy, but still, that looked low.
Having now watched the episode, I'd like to say, "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach." No, really. Trying to break through the rib cage is a sucker's bet. With a decently long knife, Dean's attack, piercing the heart with a thrust up and under the rib cage is very practical. And if he wasn't an expert on that from his Dad's training, I'm sure he was after Alastair's.
