She smiles. She's sociable. You could almost say she's actually being nice. Anyone who knows her would be astonished.
She's decided to stay out in the cold for a little while -- probably for however long this lasts, and has taken her time just walking around the park an enjoying the weather.
Oh, and there's mistletoe too.

That's... not going to work, but at least it makes the entire thing amusing and kind of fun rather than amusing and kind of annoying.
And it means that Bela will getting a very chocolately kiss by a cheerful angel, who will just start giggling once the mistletoe lets her pull away. "Sorry!" she manages, still giggling as she gestures for Bela to look up.

Anyway.
"They seem to be running rampant today, don't they."

He smirks at the sight of her. It's one of those charming, sexy smirks before he steps up to her, pulls her in by the arm and kisses her intensely.
It takes him a moment to step back, and he's still smirking at her.
"This reminds me of the day we met." Only their positions were reversed. "I'm sure it's one of your fondest memories in Chicago."

The kiss catches her a bit off guard, but she's not opposed to it at all. In fact, there's a part of her that wonders why she doesn't kiss Damon Salvatore more often. It's a part that she usually quashes quickly.
Hot chocolate or not, Damon Salvatore is a straight line to trouble and she knows it. But that doesn't mean she can't enjoy the kiss right now.
Her hands stay on his shoulders as he steps back, and she flashes him a grin. "I do remember. It wasn't a terrible kiss."
She may be in a good mood, but she's still allowed to tease him a bit too.

Damon smirks into the kiss right before he pulls away from her, tilting his head to the side and looking down at her with amusement and that hint of something devilish in his gaze. It's more like a spark really.
"Why do you have to be so mean to me? Have I done anything to deserve that treatment?" There's a slight pause. "Have I done anything to you to deserve that treatment?"
He's still smirking though, because he remembers the kiss and he knows for a fact that it was damn good.
"...someone's perky today." It took him a moment, but he notes the grin, the general good mood.

At the mention of her general good attitude, however, she simply shrugs. "I'm in a good mood. Occasionally those do happen in Chicago."

He raises an eyebrow suggestively and then smirks at her answer. "Really? I hadn't noticed." And there is actually no sarcasm there, because seriously? Happiness in Chicago? What is that?
Reply
"I'll take that into consideration," she replies. Then she shrugs. "I think it's possible to be happy anywhere. You just need the right motivation."
Reply
"I think you're overestimating everyone's ability to be happy," he says, which is his serious answer even if it doesn't come out in a serious tone of voice. "But you're right, if you get anyone enough alcohol or a good time in bed, they're just bound to enjoy themselves."
Reply
... Do not get to the new optimistic attitude, Damon. It will not last.

"Who are you and what did you do with Bela?" He asks, tugging her in closer to him... for the warmth, not because he is taking advantage of this good mood of hers. Never. He might just kiss you again, Bela.
Reply
Translation: If you were ever going to make a move, now might be the time to do it. AKA kiss her again.
"What? I'm not allowed to get into the holiday spirit?"
Reply
"I like it. It's just not the typical Bela," he says and then shrugs his shoulders before he takes her by the elbow, leans in, and kisses her again.
Heavily.

It's not until he pulls back that he smirks at her. "You're not so bad yourself."
