The design was simple, but effective. Three small pieces of cardboard taped together to form 1/2 of a small box. I once saw a poster at the local bookstore.

It was entitled "Rules for a Happy Life."

I read the rules, and they were all quite sage. Clearly the author of this piece knew a thing or two about life.

But I only remember one rule. The very first one:

1) Marry the right person. Given that, there is no need for the other rules.

Why do we have only two viable political parties?

We have one party which is fiscally conservative (earn your own money and do with it as you please), but also socially
conservative (everybody needs to act as the Bible says they should).
