Oh my. This is absolutely perfect. I'm always simultaneously apprehensive and excited about reading L/V fics because it can either be very, very good. Or so bad. Bad in that the L/V shippers love them so much that they stuff their characters full of too many expectations. If you get what I'm saying.

Impressively, your story fell under the perfectly characterised category which isn't easy to achieve for these two as you need to get the balance right. Plus you managed to put in some realistic fluff at the end. That's the best kind!

I also love how you flit from era to era randomly and yet with purpose. And these lapses in time show their journey and how right they are for each other.

I lovelovelove this. Couldn't have asked for any better. Thank you so very, very much. This is going in my Memories for re-reading later of course!

I'm glad you think it's realistic. It was my first attempt at fluff since I'm an angst girl at heart. I'm glad it didn't end up being too sugary sweet.

Wow! I really, really enjoyed this.

I liked the little snapshots that we get of them over the years. And even though they were snapshots you did a great job of capturing both the voice of the characters as well as the issues that they experience.

And in the end L and V end up together, and have a baby. Yay. I liked that haven't gotten married which stays true to Veronica's character, but at the same time you know they're in a long lasting comitted relatioship.

Thank you for this, it's nice to see VM fic, feels like good VM fic is few and far between these days. Great job!
