is the food anything like surin? or thai garden for that matter...

ummm...kind of, but not really.
The food is actually a lot more spicy than I was prepared for. It can be pretty weird too - lots of things with tentacles and eyes and stuff. But the other day I had some green curry that tasted a lot like that of Thai Garden.
