I'm so glad the weather is what it is today. It's light sweater weather. Such a perfect day for caramel and apples. Not just any apples though....MacIntosh apples, my favorite kind. So I just got back from my last day at school here in Bangkok. It was so much harder than I thought it would be. Today, I'm definitely not ready to leave. The school had a goodbye assembly for me and gave me some flowers and stuff and all the kids gave me cards that they made. It's been a rainy few days in Bangkok. It think we're getting hit with rain from that typhoon in Japan. I don't want to walk to school in the rain. But I want to see all my kids! I ate a fried grasshopper last night. Let me tell you, it wasn't too bad. Tasted kind of like popcorn but more appendagey. We also went and saw a Thai movie - very weird, but good. Movie theaters in Thailand are very, very nice. And I leave for Phuket in about 3 hours ( Read more... )
