Carrie and I decided to make our Monday in New York a very eventful one. We started around noon and took a subway up to Columbus Circle, the far South-West corner of Central Park. Ah, the past few days here have been wonderful. The weather in New York has been perfect and being tour guide for Carrie has been such an amazing thing. I've got to see a New York I would've missed out on. We hung out around Pier 17 and ate ice cream yesterday, watching the sunset after we had seen the Statue of Liberty. Thank you all for your love and support. I know most of you are wishing for me to finish out the year, but ultimately it's just up to me. I've made my decision and I am happy with it. Life here's been pretty dull. I've worked today and now I'm not really doing anything. There's some huge three school party tonight (FIT-NYU-Columbia) but I'm not joining in those festivities. We figured out where the straight guys hang out. It's actually not that hard. They're usually in packs of about 5, skateboarding in the middle of the street. My art history class was cancelled. Normally I'd be in a state of bliss if one of my classes was cancelled, but art history is different for me. I was actually really excited about our quiz, too, since it was on the Merode Altarpiece. The piece I just saw at The Cloisters over the weekend.
