Any chance you could post the instructions on how to filter LoudTwitter posts?

The only way I can work out how is to change the post to a filtered group AFTER LoudTwitter has posted it to my LJ. And if I'm away from a computer it could be days before I get the chance to filter the post.

I'm trying to be respectful, though I really don't understand why so many people are so bothered by LoudTwitter posts. Over the years I've written many LJ posts less than 140 characters, especially when I was an undergrad I'd often write up to 20 short LJ posts a day. LoudTwitter is basically those posts condensed into one post rather than 20 over the day.

Also of course, if you want to read about someone's life, you want to read it. Whether that's in the form of long diary entries or shorter posts.

I'm open to listen to arguments as to why LoudTwitter posts are annoying, but at the moment I just don't get it.

The post explaining how to do it is here http://mouser.livejournal.com/379686.html and it involves allowing loudtwitter to post via email to your journal and setting up various security tags in the default info to post before your twitters. It sounds easy enough to do but i don't have the brain power to sit and do it at the moment plus i'd have to find out who wants/doesn't want to be on the filter so it was easier to just postpone it from posting ( ... )

Thanks, I'll have a look later.

Have you thought of using m.facebook.com and www.livejournal.com/mobile/ and of course m.twitter.com ?

You can visit them on a computer as well as on phones (I know a lot of blindies use m.facebook.com because it's more screenreader-friendly than the regular facebook site) and it'll use up a lot less bandwidth.

I'm sorry I have been a bit out of touch, babe... I have been thinking about you. I hope that your hospital stay won't go on for too much longer and that you will soon be up to visitors when you get home (let me know when you are up to a visit, btw).

Lots of love to you, chick. x
