I've been meaning to read it. Of course, that means that I need to actually get my hands on a copy. I'll have to try and do that now.

I think it started very morbid.. but as time passes, the morbidity lessens and things get a bit more complex (she oddly grows up watching everyone pass her by).

I enjoyed it immensely. One of my favorites that I read last year.

Yeah, thats how I felt too. It started morbidly, but I couldn't stop reading it anyway. And it just got better & better.

Then there was the part near the end that sort of spoiled it for me. You know, where she falls to earth? I don't know...if that *didn't* happen, I would have gave this book a perfect score. Somehow it didn't fit with me.

Yeah, I agree with you. Thats where the perfectly written *except* part comes in... I hate when a book totally rules & then the ending isn't what you wanted it to be...
