It was a delightful meal! I'm kind of obsessed with roasting mushrooms lately.

They have it in red, too!

I really like how it handles, though I've admittedly only used it 4-5 times, mostly for pan-searing meats. I haven't stuck it in the oven yet or used it for non-meat items, but I'm very very happy with it thus far.

I must confess that i avoid meat cookery (unless it's a form of bacon, a form of sausage, or a steamed fish) because I am afraid that I'll kill everyone with salmonella or cook it too dry. When we finally schedule a time to cook, maybe you could show me the meat-cooking ropes?

I have a recipe for chicken tikka masala that i'd like to try sometime. I know that it's not the highest cooking aspiration. If that doesn't interest you, we could figure out something else.

Even better, I can get my foodie friend/co-worker to give us both a cooking lesson. She was going to teach me how to cook a whole chicken by using the bones for stock and then cooking chicken under a brick using the skillet. If you want, I can invite you to the demo!
