My planned short stay in vegas turned into a 9 day trip. I busted out the second day of the world series main event...I never had any cards and the situations just didn't line up. I'm heading there for Jays 21st birthday and it was decided last night I'm playing in the World Series of Poker Main event (10k buy in ~8000 person tourney 10Mil to first place). Got back last night from a week in vegas. Good times. An aquantance of mine won a bracelet (a WSOP tourney) and a guy I had a piece of got 5th, so that was cool. I lost but it was still a fun trip. The end sucked though as the controlling radar for a good part of the west coast went out and we had to sit in the plane at the gate for 3 hours... ( Read more... )

6 of us went King salmon fishing in a river, halibut fishing in the ocian, red fishing in a different river (more like a big stream) and rainbow trout fishing in a river. We didn't get much sleep and fished a ton. Lots of fun times were had and it was a great experiance. Sea sickness is miserable.

Alaska was a really good time. It was me, Jay, mike, pickett, mikes uncle (37yo), and one of mikes uncles friends wade (33). We flew into anchorage and had to drive 3 hours to the town of soldotna (spelling?) where we stayed in a furnished apartment ( Read more... )

i really should get my vision checked as looking at these monitors has gotten weirdly wobblyish blurry lately...I noticed it too when looking at mike's psp but other than that haven't really noticed it. hmmm.

It's very cool how much technology is improving...I just got a card for my laptop to give me internet anywhere I get sprint non-roaming coverage. In metropoliton areas and along a lot of freeways you get dsl speed connection too. Out in the middle of nowhere I guess it's modem speed or so but who can really complain ( Read more... )
