Well, we survived a blizzard and the resultant lack of electricity and heat for 3 days that started Saturday @11:30PM. The house was lit up and warming nicely when we returned from a spaghetti and meatballs dinner some friends fed us to thaw us out before another night in the cold and dark. I could survive for 1 minute, 25 seconds chained to a bunk bed with a velociraptor So, apparently, size DOES matter. Sorry epa_flip.

My lovely wife got me a new cellular telephone today. I've had the old one for almost 5 years. I'm fairly dexterous and don't drop thing much so it's still in great shape. It just needs a new battery as it only gives me about 10 minutes of talk time before warning of a low battery. This is on a full charge. Not so good.

My new phone is quite fancy.

Went and saw Wicked at The Bushnell. What a lovely place and what a great show. I liked it a lot. The seat rows were far enough apart that I didn't have to hurt my knees and the entire theatre was gorgeous. I dunno if I'll bother going to see Wicked again, but I'm definitely planning on seeing more shows there. I'm really glad Melanie enjoyed it ( Read more... )

Stumbled across this today. You'll know what I mean by "stumbled" if you use FF. I figured I could make a post related to music, all the cool kids are doing it.

This has to be one of the craziest/coolest things I've ever seen! Makes me wanna start a sky diving club called The Falling Fatsos, or something like that. Maybe a trip on the vomit comet will cure me of that. 

    I was unimpressed by the seafood. Maybe it was just too touristy? I think maybe I'll try to keep those separate from now on. Touristy trips and food trips, i mean ( Read more... )
