I woke up at the ungodly hour of 6:00 am, because I had to get to work early, and I'd had an awesome, awesome day yesterday, where I just NAILED everything I did, after feeling like an incompetent ASS for months and months on the job. And so my reward is (instead of the recurring anxiety dreams where I wake up clench-jawed)...THIS?! I mean, really.
What the fuck. Unicorns. Pastrami. ALL TRUE.
(I didn't even mention the underground cave scene. It was all bizarre).
Yeah, I've had one SPN dream and it was similar in its WTFedness. I don't even remember now, but I know I was disappointed I didn't get to make out with Dean.
I've been having all sorts of weird dreams lately, like, where I'm training elite forces for assassination missions or building floating huts out of enoki mushrooms and stuff. And I sort of drift off at night or wake up in the morning still half in the dreams, whispering little snatches of information between cognizance and unconsciousness.
Did you know one theory about the wild accusations and fervent confessions of the Salem Witch Trials was that a large amount of the town's rye supply had grown a hallucinogenic mold?

I think your brain is saying that you must make your imagination to good use concerning supernatural *coughbywritingfanfic*, or it will unleash the unicorns and the pastrami sandwiches EVERY NIGHT.
Actually, if I hadn't had to get up, I probably could have bent the dream a little, made it more to my -- ahem -- liking. But, sadly, no. I just woke up straightaway and wrote an email to lemmypie and sasquashme because it was so ridiculous.
I don't wanna mack on 'em. I wanna be all involved in a case somehow and the boys have to rescue me and i get to be all grumpy and *older than them* and making seventies pop-culture references that they don't get.
I'm sitting wondering because I haven't seen you post in awhile and then there is a post from you and it's so surreal it would make Salvidor Dali proud...I'm still kinda waiting for the ringing lobster...
Yeah, blame workity work work on the non-posting thing. Actually, I am writing, but it's original fic, so it won't be up here anytime soon. Also, it's a novel and though I'm about half-done, it's still in draft 1 stage. But there are ghosts involved and stuff.
The dream was totally surreal, and lobster totally could have figured in it, but would have totally upstaged the pastrami on rye. Especially if they were live lobsters!

A2 says that dreams are random snatches of the subconscious married up with details and worries of the day.
