I was thinking about Dazzleland too! I'm glad the body count was a little lower. I was already teary by all the childhood misery, as it was.

For me, it depends on the way the violence is presented. The cartoonish violence of many action movies doesn't move me like more realistically presented violence can. I can read it and watch it, but sometimes I can empathize -- maybe a little too much.

It's just a good thing I have Dazzleland printed out, since I am clearly going to be reading it again this weekend! Way to be prescient.

That Colin Ford kid was awesome as Sammy. And the episode as a whole was king of wrenching. Yeah, like Dazzleland.
