This is my new favorite store. Some of their things are over priced, but You find that anywhere. I am SO glad I didn't know about this place when I was pregnant. We would STILL be paying for it ( Read more... )

He restyled my wedding dress :) He is one of the owners and main designer at Southern Charm in Norman. I was scared to death to fuck up my dress by working on it myself, but it was purchased at a Sample Sale and I LOVED it. It was a $2400 dress that I paid MUCH less for and I didn't want to lose the great deal. He Made it look PERFECT. And he was FUN about it, which made the whole experience very pleasant. I can't say enough good things about him, so I'm his biggest fan now, haha

I watched Project Runway. I thought he did a good job with the theme. His dress and the dress made with the coffee filters were both really creative in their use of materials, in my opinion. And I was annoyed that the one guy won seeing as he didn't use any unique materials, but glad that that lady lost because she didn't know how to use a sewing machine. I never really watched the show in the past, but because of Kayne I'm going to catch as much of it as I can this season.

OMG... I almost fell off the couch when they were having to show that chick how to use the machine!!! How is it even POSSIBLE to design clothing if you don't know how to construct it?! What, has she been making clothing with Stitch Witchery or something? I was glad she got the boot too. And I wasn't impressed with the guy that won either. His dress was okay, but a yawn.
