Random Thought...

It occurred to me just now that I don't want to let my friends outside of this area (Holly and Johanna, because they're "home"...and Stoughty's here but she's only gotten to meet him...once?) get too close to Mike because I don't want them judging him harshly behind my back like I've seen happen to others. I don't know where this thought came from

it's a reasonable concern. we've all got opinions about our friends relationships, and more often than none we don't really want to know what those opinions are. it hurts when the people you love and respect don't approve of, basically, the biggest decision you make

I totally understand what you are saying. I feel that way about Roy all the time. It's why Stoughty is the first one I come to on a majority of roy issues because I know Stoughty likes him and won't instantly jump to my side unless she thinks it's the right thing to do. I think the reason it bothers you is that you're guilty of doing it yourself - I know I have before. That's why anything I've felt about Mike I've been completely up front to you about and I think that's important as friends. I trust that you make good decisions for what is important in your life, and I've made enough in my life to know that it's not my place to start judging other people

Hey Angel!

Don't shut me out :-) I know I'm not close by, but I met Mike, and I think he's awesome. He even helped me move when he didn't even know me! He's a great guy, and I'm always happy to hear about him and you, and I care b/c he's a huge part of your life now.
