So I got a job!!!!! YAY! Finally. No longer just going to school for the Masters, although I'll still be doing that, too. For the next 6 months before we move to a new post in Germany, I'll be a tax preparation and filing consultant. Whoopie for tax season....

I'm not sure how much everyone pays attention to the news, but the Secretary of Defense has announced that we will be extending all military tours to Iraq from 12 months to 15. Only two more weeks until Europe! I have my plane tickets, and all of the train tickets for the Paris-Germany travel, and in another week, I'll have the train tickets for the Metro in Paris.
The closer I'm getting to this trip, the more excited and totally scatterbrained I'm getting. I can't wait to see Mike!

In all of the years I went out partying and drinking, I've never actually seen a punch thrown. This weekend, I witnessed my first bar "fight." Although it wasn't much of a fight since the guy who got sucker punched refused to fight back. I was pretty impressed that he didn't get angry and fight back, though. So, at any rate, that bar sucked. :

I heard from Mike just a minute ago. He's ok. He's calling me later. Phew.
