I really loved this conversation. Poor kids. This must be the hardest and best and worst thing for Jen. Sometimes he's so desperate for understanding and, at the same time, so resistent to it when it's offered. But you can't bluff to the critter in your head. Sekh knows those moments of desperate need, no matter how much and how vehemently R'en denies them afterwards. I think, in the end, that'll be a good thing.
Sehkrath is just what R'en needs, sometimes -- his truth teller. I love his literalism. The things he says to R'en that question the bases of his assumptions, his quiet logic. The image of R'en's mind opening and closing, to allow him entry or not, is great.
Really wish you'd go away. Sehkrath sees through his words, and my, doesn't R'en need it? You play him so well.
