I'm currently playing in a $10+1 rebuy tournamnet on Stars. I'm never sure if I should do an initial rebuy (1500 chips for $10). My general plan is to get in cheap, play ultra tight to the addon and then take the addon (2000 chips for $10). I've been spending some of my time playing poker online on Pokerstars. I do well in the Sit&Go tournaments and generally don't win the big tournaments. I did claim first place in a 299 person rebuy tournament. Sadly it was just a $3 satellite so all I got was 215 tournament dollars. Tomorrow wil be three weeks since the surgery. I'm still getting better every day but it's still slow. I've stopped taking the Darvocet completely. I think it would help me sleep but the first night that I tried to sleep without it I felt a bit sick which implies physical addiction to me. When I think about it I take Tylenol before bed. Caroline D. died three days ago. She was the unborn daughter of two of my closest friends, eight month pregnant. Hearing it made me very sad, the saddest I have felt since 9/11. I can't imagine what the parents are going through. They are two of the strongest people I have ever met so I am sure they will be okay ( Read more... )

I saw the Momix show Iron Cactus with Kim and her friends last night. It was like modern dance with a lot of interesting visual things set to music. Like Blue Man Group but more dance. Like Cirque du Soleil but less gymnastics. It was a good time and I got to see some of her friends some more. During intermission we wandered the convention center ( Read more... )
