It is now spring break here in Japan. Unlike back home, that means in between the school years. (School starts in April). This past week has been over all uneventful I would say. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. Just when I thought I had it fixed, it isn't. After doing research on my computer, I thought that it was the inverter board (which provides power to the monitor) that was the problem. I got a new one and replace it, and it worked perfectly.... for about 5 minutes. Then it started flickering. So, this told me that it was probably the backlight ( Read more... )

My laptop's been acting wonky lately. A week or two ago, the monitor flickered twice then went dark. I could still see the image, but it was way too dark to use. As usual, I went home for Christmas. This year, I left a bit earlier than usual, so I had over two weeks at home. It was definitely enjoyable. Got to play a lot with my two nephews. Met up with most of my friends I haven't seen in a while, and at a lot of food I don't get a chance to eat here in Japan ( Read more... )
