So I'm feeling pretty miserable today because we said good-bye to my daughter at the airport yesterday. We all cried and I've been very fragile every since. She didn't want to leave us or her bf. So We're All OK
So the cyclone has bypassed us but there's still rain forecast for the next five days. I'm currently wasting money on hold trying to ring the airport to reschedule the kids' flights. I don't have much hope as there are people who have had their flights cancelled. Coincidentally the cyclone is called Daphne. Thousands have lost everything and roads ( Read more... ) -

Today's Update
So the kids arrived safe and sound yesterday thankfully. Leanne is totally hysterical about the weather. Had a great dinner last night with our friends but it's still raining. There's a cylcone warning for tomorrow morning so hopefully it won't eventuate. We will try to get flights for them but don't hold much hope. -

So my son, David his partner, Adrian and my daughter, Leanne are supposed to be arriving this afternoon for 8 days. We had planned snorkelling, visits to a few of the islands and general eating out at restaurants and sightseeing. SONISPHERE HAS BEEN CANCELLED!
I am so pi..ed off! I just got an email to say Sonishpere has been cancelled! Here's a copy of the email I received. Now I'll have to wait to see Adam next year. And we had accommodation so I'm hoping I can cancel it. I hadn't booked my flights which I almost did today so I'm relieved about that. Honestly I am so disappointed beyond words ( Read more... ) -
