Wow, its been awhile since I posted. I find that I read LJ everday but never have anything to say. Its not that I have nothing on my mind, I think that I have just been much more introspective lately. My weeks are filled with work, video games and quiet retrospection from the comfort of my house

*hugs* I say that you should try to make the effort to go out every once in a while, that way people still know that you're alive and kicking. That way, the people who really do care about you aren't worrying about you all the time.

We have all grown older since the days of starting our journals, much has changed over the past 9 years (holy crap) for me, I can tell you that for sure. People change, it's bound to happen. Those people who are really your friends will continue to try to hang out with you, even if you don't feel up for it; and those who aren't, well, they'll just end up moving on without a care.

Maybe do different things with friends. Go to art galleries or something chill. Miss you Dan. Glad you're still around.

I hear what you are saying about wanting to maintain connections, but also satisfy the need for solitude. It's a toughie... I don't want to make my reply "about me", so I will just say that I can VERY much appreciate the struggle...

And just for the record, anytime you've had to cancel plans with me (for whatever reasons theer may have been), I've never been bothered by it in the slightest because I get it. I do enjoy watching scary movies with you though and hope that we can have at least one more good one creepy movie night before I take off! :)
