Blast to the Past!
This weekend has had a couple really interesting blasts back to my childhood. The first came in the form of a holiday website mentioned by another LJer ( e_ticket ) where you can sit in front of your classic turn-dial TV and relieve the TV viewing days of your youth. Spent some time with a co-worker (who is REALLY into games) and his wife at Blue Highway on Saturday. They were willing to endure to 1+ hour of inexplicable 520 traffic to enjoy the following games with us:

I've been wearing glasses and/or contacts since I was 8 years old. With my new job at MS it comes with an amazing medical benefits package that would faciliate getting lasik surgery. Has anyone had any experience with lazik? If so, what wat it like?

New Board Game - Race for the Galaxy (Rio Grande Games)
So Richard and I have been enjoying taking regular trips to this great board game store up on Queen Anne called Blue Highway Games. It's a small local store with a sort of rustic feel to it but the best thing is they have an extensive library of their titles available for people to pull right off the shelves, plop down at one of their many tables ( Read more... ) -
