Alternately, the term "Prayer-Conditioner" may be refering to a person. In which case, one's libido is not being stifled, but only redirected to your nearest confidant.

Ever heard of a Prayer-Warrier?

Warrior?

Even if the term Prayer-Conditioner could refer to a person, I still hold that it's a machine pun, because of the imperative "Turn on," a verb that applies to air conditioners.

Oh, I've heard of prayer-warriors, except they were called witch-doctors. They were also really good at getting your wishes granted.

I'm rather certain the practice of asking witch doctors to work their magic, convene with the spirits, and grant your wishes pre-dates capitalism, thus I don't suspect that you have to pay the witch doctors.
