A beautiful summer day.
We went to the beach at Ocean Shores, Washington last Sunday. Most places, when you get ready to go to the beach, you pack the swim suit, beach blanket, sun glasses, etc. Here, we pack the fleece pull-overs, rain-gear and long pants. mmm... Grilled Peaches with cinnamon and Vanilla Ice Cream.
Very yummy. It's like warm peach pie without the pie. -
Buzz
The Wild Lilac bush in our front yard is in bloom this time of year. It sounds like an electrical box buzzing. There are bees all over it, happily pollinating the bush. I got out the macro lens for my camera the other day and took a few pictures of the bees:

2,000 miles later...
And we got back from our honeymoon late last Sunday. We left Friday the 3rd after Kathy's job interview at a local school (she didn't get it). We stopped at my parent's house for the night in Missoula. We then went to the timeshare condo in Island Park, ID, about 20 miles SW of West Yellowstone. WOW
Last night I met up with Kathy at Seattle Center for the Trans-Siberian Orchestra show. It was freaking amazing. The music and story were great. I was totally unprepared for the show. They had an amazing stage show complete with lasers, pyrotechnics and a megawatt or six of lights. Our seats were at the far end of the arena, directly in front ( Read more... )
