i hate the small talk too. i'm really glad you said that. it's mad frustrating being like "oh hey bullshit bullshit bullshit" when really you want to be like "this is what i think about life, what about you?". or something along those lines. either way, i enjoy your honesty.

maybe people have gotten too used to small talk and are unable to think along those lines. i have met these social butterflies, and have been disappointed a number of times with their absolute inability to reflect.

small talk is painful to force, but necessary i guess, because on the other hand, i cant stand the people who talk about the meaning of life all the time either.
