I am going to avoid ranting about the troublesome aspects of my life for a little while and write about something nice for a bit.

( Farewell train trip )

For anyone who knew John Boyes and might be iterested. It is a bit short notice but there will be a memorial train for him at 10am next Saturday morning, leaving from Grosmont station. I thought one or two of you might want to know.

Having managed to pack what i hope is enough stuff *and* get it securely strapped to the bike, me and my rather large two wheeled suitcase shall soon be setting off in a north easterly direction.

So this is the stealth division, initial scout mission, signing off and heading Whitbywards. Eta, some time later. Hope to see lots of you there.

I finally got around to sticking my pictures of Serpentine and Grega Wedding, as well as a few taken on my little birthday ride out, onto that Flickr site.

Now back to packing, hopefully i will get around to doing a proper update soon.

Plans so far have been going somewhat pear shaped. But i have still decided that a quiet few beers in a pub would be a good idea ( Read more... )

Today I have decided not to bother with consciousness, I have told everyone at work that I will wake up on Tuesday. It has been well worth getting into this zombie like state though. I got to share a magical weekend with some really wonderful people.

It seems i have been repreaved from my fretting about how to cat herd organise 8+ tickets for Rocky Horror in June. trashcan17 has gallantly stepped in and offered to arrange things.
