When I was little and did a good job at the dentist I would get a toy, and because I have exceptionally healthy teeth, I always (ALWAYS) got a sticker that said, "Look mom, no cavities"... well, when I returned to that dentist last year he told me they don't have those anymore ( Read more... )

I have severe TMJ and let me tell you that the Phsyical Therapy for the jaw is WONDERFUL! I never worse a mouth piece because mine doesn't come from grinding my teeth. I was actually supposed to have surgery, but with therapy, I was able to get well enough to not have it (good thing because I got pregnant!). I haven't been to PT in a while and I'm really missing it. My jaw is locking up again and in pain most of the time. I haven't been since I was in early pregnancy with K. We now live too far from the really cool PT that I went to. She actually used electric therapy. Helped so much...plus, I had massages and insurance covered it! Wonderful! I need to find a new PT and start treatments again.
