Memory Lane
My daughter, Kaitlyn, is now nearly 15 years old. She's a beautiful, well rounded, intelligent, athletic, and amazing daughter. As a sophomore in high school, she takes several honors classes. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I finished sewing the trim on my daughter's wool cape that I'm making. I started it on Halloween Day and couldn't finish it before the evening. So I left it until 2 days ago. I finished sewing it and today picked up trim and a clasp. I still have to add the clasp, and if I want, to put in arm holes. She will be able to wear it to church on Sunday! ( Read more... ) -

Had a great day
Today was my birthday. This is day 2 of a 3 day celebration :) I couldn't have been more blessed :) Yesterday, I spent the morning with a couple of my girlfriends (missing those that couldn't come) then spent the day with Kaitlyn, trying out sewing machines ( Read more... ) -

So far I've come
Having children really disrupts my body. I gain pounds upon pounds. With the miscarriage and Kaitlyn's pregnancies, I weighed more than I ever had. I've been trying to lose weight for 2 years now. A summer date...
As most of you know, I have 2 children. Caleb is 5 1/2 years old and Kaitlyn is 2 1/2 years old. Never in Kaitlyn's 2 1/2 years have I been away from her overnight (unless you count when she was in the hotel room right next to mine with Grandma).
