Good God, I still have a Livejournal?

I'm still in Washington DC finishing up my year-long term with AmeriCorps. I'm starting an internship in September, but I'm not legally allowed to blog about where I'll be working. Let's just say it's one of the most secure and highly protected buildings in the world.

Look at me, all grown up!

I've written in this journal throughout the past decade, so it is only fitting to write a post to remember the 00 events. These are in no particular order!

The Bad:

• Stolen Presidential election in 2000
• Terrorist Attacks on September 11, 2001
• War in Iraq
• War in Afghanistan
• Bush reelected in 2004

I'm packing the car for my move to Washington DC. Let the adventure begin.

I had a fantastic time in Muncie this past weekend. Went back for a last visit and saw a lot of people I wanted to see. I'm sad that I will not get to see most of them on a daily/weekly basis anymore. I graduated from Ball State in July. It still has not sunk in that I am done with college. I am actually going to miss it a lot. These past 6 years have been the best thing that have happened to me. My last 2 years of high school and all of college were all amazing. Not quite ready to move on... I was having too much fun with all of my friends; ( Read more... )
