Finally, not all hubby's time is spent in a chair of one kind or another. He has been allowed 50% weight bearing for a couple of weeks now, and has tried out his walker. The physiotherapist is pleased with his progress. But it's going to take a long time to get his strength back up. He is annoyed that he doesn't have his special built up shoe, ( Read more... )

EI finally did come through with something on March 12th - one week's worth of benefits, despite the fact that when I applied I had asked for it to be "antedated". Seems some things are still better done in person. On the 16th, after I had x rays taken, I went to the EI office and filled out a form there instead of on the computer. Here's a little something to make folks chuckle.

On Friday I had Xrays taken of my ribs.

Because on Thursday night I couldn't stop sneezing, and about half way through the attack I'll bet I woke most of the neighbourhood!

Just muscle damage. And an extra day off work. Three day weekends are all well and good, but they kinda mess up the pay
