My family has never really been supportive of my choices in life, so I'm pretty much used to it.

Maybe going to see her with me would be a good idea, but I just don't know if I can face them again quite yet.

I would say that disliking their opinions of your relationship with Quinn and their unwillingness to support him in his endeavors is totally acceptable under your circumstances.

Whoa that sentence sounded intelligent. But anyways. Sometimes it is hard for parents to accept things like this. I say that both you and Quinn should give them time to think. I'm sure they don't want to lose their son, especially someone as special as Quinn is. Let them try to get used to the idea. And yes, going down there to meet them may be a very good idea but I would still give it time.
