I know the Manning house is Mets country, but where do they fall on the Jets/Giants spectrum?

The Manning house as a whole isn't as invested in football as in baseball, so the family Manning calmly roots for both NY football teams. Except Tom, who thinks the Jets stink and should be a New Jersey team. I'm pretty sure it stems from irrational childhood alliances and a preference for blue above green. But perhaps not.

As for baseball, only half the Mannings' hearts are out in Queens. The rest have faith in The Establishment embodied by a pinstripe stadium in the Bronx.

Yeah! I can't see much further than the Chiefs/Patriots game tonight. But come Sunday... let's make bloody mary's and watch the NY Blue and the NY Green and lounge to the extreme of 'lounging.' Hopefully nursing a hangover.

And obviously you're right about friends. I hope "mend" didn't make it seem like I feel I broke somethin'. Just putting in much-needed quality time.
