Well now I've done it. After 11 years of no loving at all (after almost 11 years of divorce) I have decided to dip my toe back into the proverbial dating swimming pool. Actually, billyboy has gone above and beyond the court's mandate in an effort to keep his son's mother a part of the boy's life. Not that she deserves the consideration. She doesn't.

Obviously, things are different now than they were 18 years ago - for both of you. But I think you really need each other now.

Follow your heart. Be good to yourself. You have spent so much time and energy taking care of your mother and your son, you need to live for yourself too.

It's never too late.

What jazzfanatic said. EXACTLY THAT. I know you have family in the area. Let them help, especially with Mom. You're one of the strongest people I know, but even you can't carry the whole world on your shoulders. And time just for you, imagine that! You not only deserve it, you NEED it.
