I saw John McCain speak at a "town hall" meeting at Intel yesterday. I got to ask him a question. I almost asked him to look me in the face and tell me why he won't support ENDA. Six years ago today (March 22 - hey, there's still five minutes left of this day in my time zone!), I responded to a profile on Yahoo Personals belonging to this tall, slender, handsome guy in Scottsdale. And so began a most amazing journey! And the rest, as they say, is history.

Jeff got a job!

He now works for Citi Financial supporting their Q&A department. The people seem nice, it seems to be low-stress, and it's an easy commute. He's about to begin his fourth week. Obviously we're both delighted!

Jeff and I recently spent a week cruising around French Polynesia on an Atlantis all-gay cruise on the Regent Seven Seas M/S Paul Gauguin. ( Click for a brief travelogue and a few pictures. )

For the past several months, the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix has hosted an exhibit by glass-blowing artist/sculpter Dale Chihuly. Thousands of vividly colorful glass creations are positioned in about 20 locations around the garden, among all the cacti and wildflowers. On January 17, as a quasi-birthday party for Jeff, we had 11 friends over for cocktails and appetizers, then we all trekked over to Mesa Arts Center to see Dixie Longate's Tupperware Party.
