So Mardi Gras this weekend and Hubbard rented another lot and got 8 kegs. I'm definitely stoked about it. although I haven't gotten my check yet, so that could be a huge fucking negative on me getting to go. Right now I have like $33. I am supposed to get paid every other Monday but since Monday was a holiday I should of gotten my check on Friday. ( Read more... )

That is awesome about the lot. I wish we knew someone that had a lot, then we'd actually go. But as of right now, I think we are going to stay home. They are beefing up security and all that jazz, and parking is going to be outrageous. They are saying there is no close parking, everything is closed off and you are to park downtown in a parking garage (which = $$$) and take a free shuttle to Soulard. I wish we were going, but with all the negatives building up, I don't think we will be. =(

I know. Its going to be like 39 degrees and that is a huge factor for me in itself. I always have fun when I go, but this year I'm just not that pumped up about it. I'd almost rather just not going.

I liiiiiiike driving trucks. I'm a real small girl so it's fun to feel on top of the world... and yes even though it's not quite on top of the world it feels like it compared to my 4'10" perspective. :)

I absolutely LOOOVVEE driving trucks! Seriously as soon as I'm done with school and have a good paying job I'm totally buying a truck. Yeah, I'm a farmgirl...it's great...lol.

I've never been great at driving something so big and high off the ground. lol I think I'll stick to small cars.

Yeah, it's definitely easier to drive a small car, that's what I have right now. But I feel like a badass in a big truck...lol....and since I'm not that big of a girl, it's a great feeling for me...hehehe
