This is what you get when I’m angry and had one or four coffee too much

So, I made my decision and asked a mod over at Talk CSI to delete my account. Sadly, it isn’t possible to delete it, but they can lock it, so I’m not able to post there and start a “Fight” again with the like five-year-old-behaving-adults.

I have to say that I’m a little sad about this decision, but it makes no sense to stay there. I know that the “ ( Read more... )

The Nick/Greg relationship is very very believable??

a ha ha ha hahahhahahahahaha

Yes, yes, and I'm threatened by that. Yes, YES that must be it!

It has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that I plain dislike Greg, and feel very strongly that there's no way in bloody hell that Nick would ever find that whiny, prissy try-hard BOY attractive.

:-D

I'm not suggesting you stop expressing your POV, bine, but I've come to the conclusion that you just can't talk to those people. I mean, you can talk, but they won't listen. They just put up a brick wall of denial. It's pure hero worship, adoration without thought. I love Nick, but I see his flaws, I accept them, I can discuss them without getting all personally hurt and angry that SOMEONE WAS A MEANY-PANTS. Greg fans, some I think truly might just be about 13 years old. It's like they actually think critiquing a fictional character ACTUALLY hurts him.

*shakes head*

I don't go near any Nick/Greg fics - wouldn't poke'em with a 10 foot pole.

Hope you're doing ok :-)

ITA with what you said about the hero worship and adoration without thought and the fact the we know that Nick isn't perfect and made mistakes in the past. But they would never admit that Greg can get whiny, arrogant and should better stay in the lab than in field.

It would be okay if some of them would be 13 years old, but the scary thing is that they are adults.
And they really believe the stuff, that we feel threatened by this relationship.

And thanks, I'm doing good, I just want the old CSI back and Greg back in the lab. The show already has to much main characters.

That's really... ridiculous. (meaning those people on the site- *not you*) I honestly think that the fans of Greg and GSR on that site won't be happy until those three characters are the *only* characters on the show (that's abolishing not only the other CSIs, but all other lab techs, detectives, cops, victims and suspects ( ... )

The sad thing is that CSI already became a GSR and Greg show. Maybe TPTB think that they'll get younger viewers when they let sleep an old man with his subordinate and Greg is the little funny boy who changes his hair colors every week. I don't know, but that's not something I want to see.

You know, I know why I hate Greg,.. it's because of what TPTB did with his characters and the show in general, but mostly it's because of some of these Greg fans and their stupid behaviour.

Yeah, you can't talk with them it makes no sense and I don't think that this will change soon. Not with all the GSR and Greg overload in the show.

I get what you mean about hating Greg. I can still stand him in small amounts at the moment, and I have no problems watching him in older episodes (unlike with Grissom, who torks me off everytime he accuses people like Catherine, or Nick of being unprofessional...) It just sucks that people can ruin characters that I used to like, but it seems like the only episode where I can stand Grissom, and much of Sara is Grave Danger (ignoring of course, his later reactions towards Nick...).

But I'm still hopeful for this upcoming season. I've got my doubts, but I'm not ready to give up all hope before the season has even started. (just gonna cross my fingers and wait I suppose...)

I also have no problem to watch old epis where Greg is the lab tech. And Grissom, god, I so hope that someone will make a comment to him about being unprofessional. He had a thing going on with the Lady of darkness and Sara and then he has the nerves to tell others something about professionalism.

I also don't want to give up hope and I hope that we'll get some spoilers about the whole season soon. Last year we had an article in TV Guide where they wrote about the MCSK, GSR and Greg stories and everything happened. I just want to know what they plan for this season and if it's even worth to look forward to it.

I hate it that they won't admit that he had continiuty and development, instead they want more. I don't even see Greg as a main character and still he got such storylines, I don't know what's wrong with TPTB.

You are right all this Greg and GSR is too much for my taste and I understand that they are happy, but they don't want that we destroy their little happy spoiler party.
Talk CSI changed a lot and it makes no fun to post there, I think that it will become soon to Talk Greg, especially the spoiler section.
I don't know where suddenly all the Nick fans went when you need them, it's like a Greg invasion. *lol*

The mods only locked my account, so I still can ask to open it again, when I want to post again. And I think that depends on how CSI will be this season, I can't take a season 6 and season 7 repeat again.

What? No!!!! I need some help with the radid Gregfans over there *g* Mind you, those that preach on how other should behave (love greg) are only a few and most are really normal people. I suspect the more rbid ones are very young and narcissistic.

Nick fas have taken a lot of beating from the crowd, bigoted homophobics as we are. *cackles* But evil has to be pointed out and disrobed. And I am on a mission of doing so *straightens halo* and I need as many stupid, homophobic bigots as I ca find ;)

Nope I can't frget that one post that really did a lot of harm to that segment of the fandom, still I there are Greg-fans and writers I adore out there.

I hear ya. I didn't delete my account (not under Jalola), but I've left it dormant at Talk CSI for ages. The board was just stressing me out too much. I walked away with only the occasional lurk over there.

When I recently stopped by I was saddened to see the Nick discussion posts had dropped into the archives. At least when I was there, they were still discussing him. Now it's all pictures, it seems. I like pictures, but discussions make things cook.

As for Greg, I too believe he's getting annoying by the season. I wish the whole fannysmackin' thing had sent him back to a lab job and left the investigating to the long-time CSIs. He's too smug to be the student.

I could write a book on the fans who ship Greg with Nick and let it cross into real life shipping of Eric with George. I just don't see it in either realm. What is real is George's friendship with Gary Dourdan and that translates as true partner chemistry within the show.

The board was just stressing me out too much.

That is also the reason why I leave, it's not worth. I know I can still go there and read things that will probably annoy me, but I can't interact in the stupidness. So, my stresslevel won't go over the top. *lol*

I also hoped that the whole fannysmackin' thing had lead to Greg going back to lab. I don't like him as a CSI and I think CSI already had enough main characters.

I'm sorry to leave you alone there but, I can't take this people anymore. I know that there are only a few, but these few are always there and talk crap. I have enough of this.

Oh yeah, I didn't forget that we are homophobics and bigoted fangirls and now we are also scared and feel threatened because of Nick/Greg. *lol*

Maybe I'll come back when some good Nick things will happen. ;)

But for now it's better when I leave.

I also can't imagine that Nick shares anything personal with Greg, I don't think that they have these kind of relationship. I think the reason why this ship has such a big fan base is because of some touchy and eye-sex moments in the beginning of CSI. *lol ( ... )

Or we could carry the more interesting discussion topics over to Nick Discussion.

I've pretty much written off Talk CSI as a non-Nick board. It's a shame. They had some great discussions on him following his abduction and a great one on his evolution called The Nick Stokes Timeline. These are now defunct.

The forums at TWOP got taken over by the Sara/GSR fans. I never go there now.

And TV.com's forums went all GSR/Greg. The Nick fans left there too during Season 7.

I told ya it's like an invasion. Everywhere GSR and Greg.

I don't even know why I go there, maybe I hope that they'll have other spoilers or I'm afraid that I could miss something.

And you are right, there were some really good Nick threads and that was a reason why I made an account there. But today when I visit the Nick threads, I don't feel the need to post something, I just don't know what to say.

For me Nick Discussion is the only place where I can talk freely and have fun. We are like a little therapy group and we suffer from PTSD because of Grave Danger, Stalker and all the other forgotten moments in the life of Nick Stokes. *lol*
