DD, ST?! It's a gorgeous wheel, and certainly one of a kind, but I'm a firm believer in SD, DT. I have an Ashford Traveller, and I love it to pieces! Well, hopefully one big piece...anyway. You make me feel guilty for not spinning more, but with Christmas coming up rapidly, I'm using all commercial yarn for presents, since the handspun is too precious (and too expensive!) to give to just anyone. Happy spinning!
oh don't feel guilty! I haven't gotten round to even learning properly because i'm too busy clacking the needles and working the hook (I had 2 crafting challenges for myself this year -learn to crochet and learn to spin - I've sufficiently cracked one of those things!) I have an Ashford traditional now as well (that i got for $75) and it's much easier to spin on - was being used right up until i bought it so it works well.
ETA: and as for christmas knitting...! lol so much of it!
