I bought a very pretty bedspread last summer that was quite expensive, and dry-clean only, so of course the cat promptly threw up on it. I had it dry cleaned, but didn't bother to check upon getting it back (and this was some months ago) that the stain came out. I just assumed...since that's what they do. Tomorrow we're taking my dad out for his birthday. Since my mom is still in Spain, that means it'll be one of his daughters and his mother-in-law celebrating with him. How's that for a weird party? But, yay for Mexican. -

This last week has been more than a little hectic; on Tuesday, I went to the ob/gyn, and after a very rough visit (seriously, this is the first time I've had bleeding from said exam), she started me on a new medication that made me so nauseated, I had to leave work later that afternoon. All went well today. Guy showed up (already better than the last!), and at least so far has proved to not be a murderer. Or rapist. This is good. He was interesting, and cute. Am I madly in love? No, but there's still something comfortable here, and that's all I can really ask at this point. Isn't it better to be friendly than have a stupid ( Read more... ) -
