The one where it's great that Tracey aimed low and settled for very little.

Synopsis: As the 'happy' couple head to parts unknown, Tracey shuts down Gord's grand gesture because the only thing she sees as having changed is her surname.

Summary: Good thing Gord is afraid of actually talking to women. Otherwise, she'll end up like fellow dumpy blonde ( Read more... )

they have to play the We're Hard-Working Poor People Starting from Nothing card right off the bat. When i got married, I worked in the dairy department at Wegman's and my wife worked at a Ross's Clothing. We did a winery tour and went hiking through the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate NY. Gordon and Tracey are better off than we were, but they have that role to play.

The irritating thing is not that the closest that these two dumb people ever get to a honeymoon is a cabin in the wilds. The irritating thing is that the only normal looking honeymoon we get to see involves a lot of retail therapy on Deanna's part:

Only very old people use expressions like "old flame".

Telling people to pray at a New Year's Eve party. This is why I think they're bible thumpers.

Elly is so dumb she thinks people with three kids never get divorced? Also, more Victorian euphemisms with "seeing" meaning "having sex with" and the hands sprouting directly under the tits.

Apparently Elly is a family court judge now- "no, this marriage cannot end. Too much at stake."

What if one of the parents died? Would that not be "permitted" either?

I know lots of people who were brought up by loving single parents and turned out fine. I also know lots of people who had horrible abusive parents and are really messed up.
