Had some Scots breakfast tea. The weather sucks, it's cold and raining and the wind is really bad but I went to do some shopping, mostly getting stuff from Trader Joe for a potluck they're doing in my bldg tomorrow. What a great surprise! After I ate lunch today, L. called me and said they unexpectedly had the day off work so we got together and went driving and listening to music and then I took them out for dinner tonight as a late birthday celebration (their birthday was almost two weeks ago). L. cancelled again. Apparently the car rental company didn't bother saving a car for them when they had reserved one. Waiting to hear from L., I'm supposed to take them out for dinner tonight as a late birthday celebration and I don't know what time they're picking me up. I'm really looking forward to it!

I managed to get a cart up two flights of steps with a bad leg so I could get my laundry to the laundry rooms, I feel pretty proud of myself although really wiped. Also had no problems getting the ticket last night for the Dickens fair. I'm going on 12/1.

Just hanging out here listening to music and waiting for it to be late enough for me to go over to L.'s house to pick up my tea and buy my ticket for the Dickens fair. I think I'll stop off at my favorite cafe and have a piece of cake on the way, the cafe is right near the bus stop I would take to get to L.'s house anyway. The plumbing inspection ( Read more... )

Last night my dad sent me an itinerary for me to come visit him and my mom in Austin, I will be there from the 4th to the 8th. I'm going to pick up some teas I ordered from L.'s house tomorrow evening and also buy my Dickens fair ticket.
