Hope I don't kill myself trying to drag my busted old recliner out of my apt to get it out of the way for my new furniture. I've checked with a bunch of junk removal guys and NONE of them will pick it up out of my apt unless I drag it to the curb. Which I can't do! Hello! Bum leg!

everybody I talked to wouldn't come in the apt, they all wanted me to take it to the curb which I couldn't because of my leg. I offered them more money but they wouldn't do it. I finally had to dump the damn thing in the hall and felt like I was gonna have a heart attack doing it, which we're not supposed to do but I don't think anybody saw me and anyway people dump their junk in the hall all the time around this bldg. I see old furniture and busted TVs and stuff a lot. Someone even left a sewing machine. That's also how I got my toaster, which works fine.

Have you tried donating it to a thrift store? We have a chain here called The Saving Way that will pick up whatever you want to donate. The Neighborhood Store will not. Might be worth a try?

it was in terrible shape, no thrift store wanted it. I finally had to damn near give myself a heart attack hauling it out into the hall. We're not supposed to do that but people in this bldg do it all the time, I'm always seeing busted appliances and things out there and I'm pretty damn sure nobody saw me do it.
