31 Days of Halloween, October 25

So, today was supposed to include pumpkin carving and Sunday dinner with my housemate, her boyfriend, and her boyfriend's two boys.  Unfortunately, my housemate got a call at about 4.30 with the horrible news that her father has had a stroke and they airlifted him to a hospital in Milwaukee.  Needless to say, we scuttled the pumpkin carving
