i love the circular nature of it, the matching symbolism - of course she would get shot in the same place she shot him - with the beginning of the episode and the flashback and the way the blood splattered (it is very artistic) and violently beautiful, as have been YS's nightmares of her.

I think she just went into shock, but it's dramatic sweeping OMG at its best. I can't wait for episode 12 now, the bastards.

(also it's episode 11, not 10 - ;) in your lj cut)

The shot was just very beautiful, as strange as that sounds.

It also fits in SO WELL with this whole theme of Yoon Sung trying to be strong enough to force Nana out of his life, and ultimately being unable to because Nana has too much faith in him.

I agree, she was clearly just shot in the shoulder, but when her hands went limp it definitely made me pause for a second.

so i totally stumbled here searching in google "did they really killed nana in c.h.?" ha ha ha totally agree with u, this show gets better and better each week..i've been amazed at how they filmed this drama to make it look more like a movie-type than a drama itself. so different from what we are used to with korean dramas...omg i cannot wait for ep.12.. just saw the preview and nana was a no show.. but they do mention her.. seriously addicted with this drama ^_^

Hahahaha I'm glad that my frenzied freaking out actually made sense! And I'm very amused that it actually showed up on Google, lol.

This drama is filmed BEAUTIFULLY. Any facial close-ups are just so beautiful, with the way that the camera seems to slow down just a bit and the lighting is always pitch perfect.

Have you seen episode 12, yet?

That last scene turned me into a total incoherent fangirl (and any sin Nana committed towards YS via shooting him, albeit unknowingly, has surely been expiated with this ep. Not that I believe she committed any but still...).

I haven't hyperventilated this much over a drama in years.

IA- I never thought Nana did anything wrong in shooting Yoon Sung (she was just doing her job/what she thought was right), but this will surely shup up all those fangirls on Soompi who seem to think Nana isn't 'worthy' of Yoon Sung.

City Hunter just has the best mix of an awesome storyline and great directing/acting that I've seen in years. Either of those things would be noteworthy on their own, but together they create what is I think the best drama I've seen all year, and probably the best I've seen in a couple years.
