Now *that's* good parenting!

I find it amusing that the woman in Subway sees no problem with buying her 7-year-old daughter a sandwich at 2:13 in the morning, but draws the line when the child asks for a cookie and a soda. "You'll be up all night," was her reasoning to the girl. Ummmmm, isn't 2 a.m. *already* all night for a 7-year-old?

Some people have the most bizarre concept of reality. I'm with you: She already *is* up all night, give her the damn cookie!

Much as it pains me to say it, this is only reinforcement of why, if I were anyone with power to make law, I would seriously consider the idea of making people to go through a long application/paperwork/interview process before being allowed to breed.

It will not be the firs or last night in her life that she is out late. Just wait until they get to college.

Maybe, they're vampires with the eat-food merit?

That's my first thought... But probably yeah, bad parenting.

Hey, she's buying healthy food at Subway. None of that McDonald's crap for her little nocturnal angel. Besides, she can still get in a couple of hours sleep before it's time to get up for school, right? WTF, people.
