I find it amusing that the woman in Subway sees no problem with buying her 7-year-old daughter a sandwich at 2:13 in the morning, but draws the line when the child asks for a cookie and a soda. "You'll be up all night," was her reasoning to the girl. Ummmmm, isn't 2 a.m. *already* all night for a 7-year-old?

That being said Sprite would have been ok. Or lemon aid.
I am not sure what the freak is going on I had to be in bed at 9 at that age. But my neighbor used to let her daughter stay up to when ever and still got her up early for school. That would have totally killed me I would not even get up for breakfast I preferred to sleep.

Sometimes you see parents who make you wonder what the hell they're doing with kids. Their ideas of what are and are not acceptable are horrifically warped. When that kid gets to be around 12 or 13 watch mommy start treating her like the girlfriend she goes to the strip club with rather than like her daughter. Personally I think this country has enough people. We should just not let people keep breed anymore. Like that "Umpteen kids and counting" family. They don't believe in birth control as ordered by their god, but apparently their god condones choking the life out of its planet due to over-population.../shrug
