when I'm searching for recipes I usually type in a couple of the main ingredients in the search engine. more often than not I get a couple I can work with from allrecipes.com. I'm going to have to check out your links - they look tasty. I know you've mentioned bakerella more than once.
After I went to Pioneer Woman I realized I've used her site for something in the past, but I can't remember what it was. I do remember that it was awesome! I need to bookmark that one.
her whole blog is great. I highly recommend adding her to a reader if you use one, or just stopping by periodically. She's awesome. Tasty Kitchen belongs to her too, it's actually her food community. I love her to pieces.
I like to read Simply Recipes. Lots of delicious sounding dishes. But the recipes never seem that simple, to me. I usually use them as a rough model and simplify them myself!
She does have an awesome recipe for banana bread though, that really is the easiest one I've found, and I love it. I will make this banana bread all the time:
