Well you got me back on the emotional roller-coaster of Booth's psyche. I think I like this so much because you say so well how I see him if I could untangle it enough to get it down on paper. How do you do that?

I'm pretty sure I know what his decision is, but I know whatever you decide it will be true to the character.

Well done for getting this out in spite of work being so time consuming. It is very worth while however long it takes to get the full story.

Not counting.

Thank you so much, sweetie! I don't know why, but the season finale just left me with this overwhelming sense of angst that I projected onto Booth, lol. It was pretty difficult to keep him emotionally consistent, so I really appreciate that this perspective held true to you.

WOW. That was absolutely stunning, A!

The introduction of a girlfriend for Booth (in fic) always leave me with a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach, and I either love her or hate her. I have to say, I'm a big fan of Olivia. The understanding she has for that deep place in Booth's heart meant solely for Brennan nearly brought tears to my eyes. I also wholeheartedly believe Olivia is positive movement for him right now. (In other words, I can't hate her if I tried, LOL.)

Because, honestly, there’s only so many times two people can miss their moment and still have a chance.

As much as that line crushed my heart, it was one that struck me as the most beautiful. The pain and emotion within those words paints a beautiful picture of how Booth must be feeling. I do NOT envy him.

Can't wait for the next update!

Thank you, bb! I was never a fan of fic!girlfriends for Booth, because I never felt that he was in the right mental or emotional mindset to go that way until now. And I really wanted her to be likable, because Booth deserves someone to understand him. It all goes to the fact that you can be happy with more than one person; but maybe there's only one person you can be the most fulfilled with ;)

I'm really glad you pointed out that line, because it's actually where this whole fic started. I don't even know where all this angst is coming from, but I can't seem to stop, lol.

*flails* you made olivia worthy of booth's love & a likable character in her own right, but of course, i'm dying to know what booth's decision is. his reunion with brennan = perfection.

Thank you! I'm really glad you can enjoy Olivia's character and that you liked the B&B reunion. I thought this was the most realistic way it could go. (Obv the writers thought differently, but my passive aggressiveness is neither here nor there :P) I appreciate you reading and commenting :D

Lost your mojo? Not a chance. This was so well written. You write Booth in a really believable (and in this case, heartbreaking) way. I really felt how resigned he was to what had happened. You've almost got me on Team!Olivia. Looking forward to the rest, whenever you can post.

Thanks so much! I'm really glad you're enjoying this. And wow, Team!Olivia, huh? I don't think I even meant to make her as likable a character as she turned out being, lol.
