I might be getting "thinner" or "smaller" as you say, but I've gone up 2.5 lbs in the past month. Wanna know why? My mom's hysterectomy is going to be on the 24th of this month. She'll be out of work for 6 weeks, and won't be able to do anything around the house for about half that time. I think I may have lost some weight, I just don't know if it's fat-weight, or water-weight. I can tell because my hands, feet, and wrists are thinner, and that's always been the indicator that I've lost weight, primarily water. My mom's having a hysterectomy in August.

She's counting on me to take care of her for the 2 to 3 weeks that I'll be home that month, because she knows that my dad won't help her at all. Once I leave, she'll be pretty much without help for another 2 weeks.

I wish I had sewing skills.

I have mending skills, and I have stitching skills, but I can't sew for shit. I'm sure I could learn, but I'm lacking the time, the materials, and the machine to do so.
